Kanyon Iwami

Associate

Kanyon is an Associate at Blue Dot Capital specializing in communications and strategy.

He is a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) concentrating in the school's Energy & Environment program. At SIPA, he is Assistant Features Editor of the Journal of International Affairs.

Prior to SIPA, he was a Senior Account Executive at Edelman where he advised consumer brands and financial services firms during sensitive situations. He regularly partnered with clients to help them navigate ESG policy and the evolving role of corporate purpose. Kanyon received his B.A. in Economics from New York University, during which he was an intern for the United Nations and New York City Council.
